Job Title: Event Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Marketing Specialist to join our team at Canada Inc. (Platinum Events). As an Event Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our events and increase brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote events and increase brand awareness
  • Evaluate communication strategies and programs to ensure effectiveness
  • Implement communication strategies and programs to engage with target audiences
  • Oversee the preparation of public written materials, including event programs and promotional materials
  • Prepare bibliographies, indexes, reading lists, guides, and other finding aids to support event planning
  • Produce educational and publicity programs and informational materials to awaken curiosity and interest in the subject matter
  • Publicize activities, workshops, meetings, and other events for fundraising or information purposes
  • Supervise staff and train them on event marketing and planning
  • Act as spokesperson for the organization and respond to written and oral inquiries
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to inform event planning and marketing strategies
  • Design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects to evaluate event effectiveness
  • Conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and Website promotions to reach target audiences
  • Solicit event donors and review bids and negotiate costs
  • Research and design special events programs to engage with target audiences
  • Prepare, present, and manage budgets for events and marketing campaigns
  • Plan for required documentation and pre- and post-distribution of documentation (itineraries, evaluations, etc.)
  • Plan for traffic and crowd control and security measures
  • Plan for translation and interpretation services to ensure accessibility
  • Plan schedules, goals, and objectives for events and marketing campaigns
  • Implement registration systems and develop policies and procedures for event planning and marketing
  • Develop risk management plans and financial procedures to ensure event success
  • Confirm and coordinate speakers and arrange for shipping, receiving, and storage
  • Plan for VIP arrangements and manage event logistics
  • Co-ordinate media services and co-ordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers and identify human resources requirements
  • Plan and oversee Webinars and assist in preparing financial reports
  • Administer revenues and expenditures and ensure compliance with financial procedures
