Job Summary

The Roving Building Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including mechanical and electrical systems. This role involves performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance
    • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues
    • Perform repairs and replacements as needed to ensure optimal system performance
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues
  • Client Relations
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
    • Communicate effectively to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded
  • Administration
    • Manage work orders and maintenance schedules
    • Maintain accurate records and reports
    • Participate in facility-related projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • High school diploma plus trades training and/or certification or licensing
  • Experience in mechanical or electrical systems maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of facility operations and maintenance practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

  • Building Operator Certification or equivalent through an accredited institution
  • Power Engineer certification is a strong asset
