Job Title: Painter Helper

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Painter Helper to join our team at Strength Of Colours Painting Ltd. As a Painter Helper, you will assist our experienced painters in various tasks related to painting and construction.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist the medical examiner in charge with tasks as needed.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants at construction sites.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Participation in a government or community program that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Participation in a government or community program that supports youth employment.
  • Participation in a government or community program that supports Veterans.
  • Participation in a government or community program that supports Indigenous people.
  • Participation in a government or community program that supports members of visible minorities.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
