Job Title: Painter Helper

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Painter Helper to join our team at Strength Of Colours Painting Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist our painters with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, mixing and applying materials, and cleaning up job sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist medical examiners as needed.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
