Key Responsibilities

As a Sales and Service Leader at Marks Supply, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability in our Watermarks showrooms. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing sales plans to increase revenue and gross profit in the Etobicoke and Burlington locations.
  • Cold calling custom home builders, contractors, and high-end designers to generate leads and outside sales.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and repeat customers.
  • Supervising showroom personnel, monitoring cleanliness and functioning of all equipment, and highlighting new products.
  • Managing customer concerns quickly and professionally.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in outside sales and business development, with a progress into a lead or manager role.
  • Knowledge of the home building, design, HVAC, and plumbing industry or a related showroom environment.
  • Strong customer service and sales skills, with the ability to build trust with customers and exceed expectations.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and motivate individuals and a team.
  • Technical skills, including proficiency with basic software applications and the ability to quickly come up to speed on new tools.
