The Role

This Senior Marketing Director will lead a team of five professionals across graphic design, product photography, catalogue production, website management, social media, digital marketing, and showroom merchandising. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager and contribute to high-level decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team of five direct reports.
  • Hands-On Contribution: Participate actively in creating marketing content and executing projects alongside your team.
  • Creative Direction: Provide creative vision and direction for branding, product photography, catalogues, website content, social media, and other digital assets. Ensure visual consistency across all channels.
  • Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of marketing projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality output.
  • Brand Stewardship: Uphold and evolve Abbott's brand standards, working closely with the General Manager to ensure all marketing materials reflect the brand's core values.
  • Campaign Development: Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Digital & Print Expertise: Oversee website management, social media, and digital marketing strategies while ensuring effective execution of print for catalogues, flyers, and product packaging.
  • Showroom & Display Oversight: Work with our product merchandising stylist to develop inspiring showroom displays that reflect our brand values.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of expertise in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite), digital marketing platforms, and website management systems.
  • Solid understanding of print production processes and catalogue design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present creative concepts and marketing strategies.
  • A collaborative and strategic leader, able to guide a team while working side-by-side to meet goals.
