Job Title: Deputy Bid Manager Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Bid Manager Services to join our Alstom Services Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering bids for Operation and Maintenance of Transport Systems, contributing to manage the Tender, Quality, Costs, Delivery and Performance (QCDP) commitment for bids, and delivering a winning proposal to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-tendering, building the schedule to prepare the offer, managing the tender budget, and managing the tender team.
  • Analyzing the request for proposal (RFP) and defining the bid operational strategy in line with the commercial strategy.
  • Proposing the offered solution in term of product solution and tender organization, ensuring offered solution compliance versus customer requirements and internal product strategy.
  • Leading the preparation of the financial elements of the bid, defining interfaces and allocating between actors the cost targets and the contractual obligations.
  • Checking, challenging, and properly consolidating sub-systems commitments, organizing risks reviews, and ensuring the elaboration of mitigation plans.
  • Preparing and leading internal reviews and obtaining clear commitments from internal actors, leading the preparation of the documentation to submit to the customer.

Requirements:

  • Master or bachelor's degree in engineering or any relevant field, MBA an asset.
  • Experience in railway industry, or maintenance industry, an asset.
  • Experience in costing, planning & risk management, legal aspects, an asset.
  • High Communications skills, reporting capabilities, negotiation skills, and customer-oriented.
  • Fluent in English, French is a strong asset.
  • Some travels are expected across the region (North America).
  • Localisation in the area of Montreal. Other localisations in Canada and United States to be discussed.
