Job Title: Deputy Manager EV Regulations

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at the National Electric Vehicle Centre (NEVC). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing regulatory policies and frameworks for electric vehicle charging systems in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regulatory policies and frameworks for electric vehicle charging systems
  • Administer the licensing of EV charging operators and the registration of EV chargers
  • Process submissions for the provision of EV charging in carparks
  • Work closely with stakeholders to conduct enforcement and ensure compliance of regulatory policies and frameworks

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in any discipline
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with an eye for details
  • Experience in enforcement policy or operations, such as regulating licensees or use of banned products
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational needs, and recommend effective and efficient use of enforcement resources
  • Able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, and with various stakeholders such as companies and other government agencies
