Job Title: Deputy / Assistant Manager, EV Regulations

Join our team at the National Electric Vehicle Centre (NEVC) under LTA's Technology and Industry Development Group as a Deputy / Assistant Manager, EV Regulations. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to play a key role in developing regulatory policies and frameworks for the electric vehicle (EV) charging industry in Singapore.

About the Role

As a Deputy / Assistant Manager, EV Regulations, you will be responsible for administering the licensing of EV charging operators, registering EV chargers, and processing submissions for the provision of EV charging in carparks. You will also work closely with stakeholders to conduct enforcement and ensure compliance of the regulatory policies and framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regulatory policies and frameworks for the EV charging industry
  • Administer the licensing of EV charging operators and register EV chargers
  • Process submissions for the provision of EV charging in carparks
  • Conduct enforcement and ensure compliance of regulatory policies and framework
  • Work closely with stakeholders to achieve outcomes of ensuring safety, managing operational constraints, and being business-friendly
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in any discipline
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Experience in enforcement policy or operations
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational needs
  • Able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team
