We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team at Edgewood Health Network Inc. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to adults struggling with addiction and mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide medication management and administration in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and implement client care plans, including ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer medications and safely implement physician's orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client progress records.
- Provide supportive counseling to clients, families, and significant others on recovery issues.
- Contribute to a therapeutic environment that fosters client learning and growth.
- Participate in crisis intervention and provide information on addiction services.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nurses with pharmacological training.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Province of Saskatchewan.
- Basic CPR certification.
- Recent clinical experience, including medication administration and leadership duties.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
