Job Title: Director Talent Acquisition Lead

Job Summary:

The Director Talent Acquisition Lead will be responsible for all talent acquisition activities, including reviewing workflows in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), executing sourcing strategies, building internal capacity in candidate assessment, and developing partnerships with educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have worked closely with senior executives to develop recruitment strategies and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and lead a team of four talent acquisition professionals to fill head office, distribution center, and store management positions.
  2. Optimize the recruitment process in the ATS based on data and feedback from recruiters and candidates.
  3. Maintain a dashboard that gives recruitment and management teams complete visibility over recruitment. Analyze recruitment indicators to improve performance.
  4. Support the implementation of recruitment strategies, including social media, and strengthen managers' assessment skills.
  5. Contribute to the redefinition of our employer brand.
  6. Develop successful partnerships with targeted educational institutions.
  7. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the talent acquisition process.
  8. Manage supplier relationships for talent acquisition tools and partners.

Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years' experience managing a talent acquisition team within a large organization.
  2. Demonstrated experience in high-volume or retail recruitment.
  3. Data-driven mindset with strong reporting and analytical skills and ability to work with metrics, numbers, and trends.
  4. Fluently bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken. This position is national in scope.
  5. Good ability to edit and write documents in both languages, prepare presentations, and reports with attention to detail.
  6. Experience in managing a departmental budget and intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
