Why This Role Matters

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented co-op student to support the PC Mastercard Product Marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Product Marketing Manager in delivering campaigns from concept to execution.

Your responsibilities will include supporting marketing communication activities related to customer base marketing for PC Financial Mastercard. This will involve email execution and reporting, as well as ad-hoc customer issues. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong skills in relationship management, problem-solving, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support email marketing planning, including brief writing and managing creative development with the agency.
  • Conduct competitive research and analysis on customer behavior and postmortems to drive desired outcomes for the credit card portfolio.
  • Act as a liaison between Marketing, Creative Agency, Legal, Data team, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in all campaigns.
  • Drive customer behavior using various tactics, including campaigns and updates to their digital experience.
  • Support our communications strategy by analyzing analytics and providing strategic recommendations to improve KPIs such as open rate, click rate, and click-to-open rate.
  • Support the development of email test concepts to optimize results, including subject lines, visuals, and CTAs.
  • Research email communications standard processes, trends, and technologies to assist in email marketing strategy development.
  • Assist in monitoring, tracking, and communicating campaign reporting for Senior Management.
  • Collaborate with lines of business across PC Financial (product strategy, credit risk, digital) and external suppliers (e.g., marketing agencies) in support of various initiatives.
  • Support regulatory/operational initiatives as required.
  • Support the team with ad-hoc requests as needed.
  • Proofread marketing materials for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
