About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at BIG COUNTRY STORAGE TERMINALS. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Office Administration
    • Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficient workflow.
    • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events.
    • Answer and direct telephone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries.
    • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure a well-stocked office.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Support
    • Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
    • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
    • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Organizational and Time Management
    • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
    • Manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced office environment with a focus on customer service and administrative support.
    • Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
  • Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
