We are seeking a highly professional Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to work in various long term and acute care facilities in the Sarsfield area. As an RPN with RhynoCare Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to earn above-average wages with travel compensation and accommodation.

Shifts would be early morning, afternoon, evening, overnight with consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and within the scope of practice of an RPN.
  • Ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in assigned home areas.
  • Ensure timely admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and services offered.
  • Manage resident transfers and discharges safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics on assigned shifts.

To ensure the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents are met, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care accordingly.

Requirements
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Able to work with individuals having infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certification.
  • Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV), as well as negative TB skin test within one year and Hepatitis B.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be flexible with shift times, working 8-12 hour shifts, and willing to 'float' between units as needed.
