About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Potenza Motor Works Limited. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and diagnose issues with mechanical units, including engines, transmissions, and brake systems.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Use your technical expertise to repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, ensuring that all work is done to the highest standards.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements, to ensure that vehicles are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Work with Colleagues: Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification: Hold a valid certification in Automotive Service Technician, with a focus on Fuel and Electrical Systems, Transmission, Steering, Suspension, and Brakes.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence, with a clean driving record.
  • Manual Dexterity: Have excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to work with precision and accuracy.
  • Dependability and Punctuality: Demonstrate a strong sense of dependability and punctuality, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
