Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineering Manager to join our team in Port Colborne, Ontario. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for establishing and driving process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and guiding the process engineering group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction for the Process Engineering department's operating plan
  • Collaborate with other managers to drive process continuous improvements
  • Guide and mentor the process engineering group
  • Responsible for reporting area budget for Process Engineering
  • Disciplined operation of all equipment and processes consistent with standard operating procedures and standard operating conditions
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and effective problem-solving
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering preferred)
  • 7+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience with demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
  • Experience with plastic extrusion equipment, web handling equipment, and rotation equipment preferred
  • Strong emphasis on execution of multiple projects and people/team leadership
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing/JIT, Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, and Poke Yoke techniques required
