Job Summary:

The Mental Health Clinician will provide high-quality case management, clinical treatment, and advocacy to clients with operational stress injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and co-occurring mental health and addiction issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based modalities, including recovery-oriented cognitive therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed care.
  • Identify treatment goals with patients and coordinate with broader clinical teams as needed.
  • Deliver high-quality psychoeducational and process groups using evidence-based modalities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement, and follow-up on patient aftercare plans, including referrals to peer-led recovery programs and community-based counseling.
  • Complete detailed documentation and charting in accordance with company standards.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Counselling, Social Work, Psychotherapy, or Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration in good standing with a professional body, such as CCPA, BCACC, CCAC, or BCCSW.
  • Experience in facilitating group programs and therapeutic groups is required.
  • Experience working in a residential mental health and addiction treatment setting is an asset.
