Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, care planning, and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families.

About the Role:
  • Provide direct psychosocial care, counseling, and group work to clients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide education and linkage to relevant specialized complex care resources.
  • Facilitate client self-management and empowerment.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Registration with the BC College of Social Workers (BCCSW) or the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
  • Experience working with First Nations communities and mental health issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Strong assessment and treatment skills.
