About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented Field Marketing and Events Marketing Manager to help execute its field marketing strategy for Canada. This is a unique opportunity to make your mark on a fast-growing business in the exciting and dynamic cloud and SaaS marketplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with marketing and sales leaders to help develop and execute a differentiated marketing strategy and plan for AWS.
  • Lead the cross-functional management of cross-segment and cross-vertical programs, including event marketing, digital initiatives, and campaign execution.
  • Design, build, and execute customer events that align with business goals and elevate the AWS brand.
  • Compile, analyze, and synthesize performance metrics for events and marketing campaigns.
  • Drive operational best practices within the marketing team.
  • Oversee project management for large-scale initiatives.
About the Team

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau.
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns.
