About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sanitation Specialist to join our team at Bimbo Bakehouse. This is a full-time position working on a night shift schedule.

Compensation Package

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $21.25/hour, plus an additional $0.50/hour for night shift premiums. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid overtime and recognition programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete tasks assigned from the master sanitation program for the facility and special assignments as determined by the Sanitation Supervisor.
  • Maintain and utilize in-house sanitation cleaning equipment (Power washers, Vacuums, and floor Scrubbers).
  • Understand, follow, and maintain WHMIS procedures and regulations as required.
  • Understand, follow, and maintain all sanitation programs and requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and skills consistent with Bimbo Bakehouse leadership values.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work with others.
  • Must perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be prepared to work extra hours when required.
  • Must have an excellent work and attendance record.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a warm and humid environment. The physical demands include bending, significant walking, scrubbing, scraping, mopping, moving objects, pulling/pushing equipment, occasional heavy lifting (50-75 lbs) assisted by a partner, and frequent exertion of up to 35 lbs of force. The ability to communicate effectively in English is essential.
