About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for commercial and institutional buildings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and coordinating mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Working with architects, interior designers, and other engineers to create integrated design solutions
  • Managing contract documents and ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Performing engineering studies and condition assessments
  • Developing innovative mechanical systems that drive sustainability and decarbonization

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in commercial and institutional buildings
  • LEED accreditation and experience with BIM software (Revit) are considered assets
  • Strong understanding of sustainable design practices and ability to work under pressure
