Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse/Infirmier is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful work environment that promotes quality services and staff empowerment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain competency and advance nursing practice.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in both official languages (English/French).
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification.
  • Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) certification.
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
