Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to clients and families
• Work within a client and family centered care model and in accordance with the standards, scope and code of ethics as outlined by BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment

Requirements

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
• One (1) year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population dependent on the nature of the caseload
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
