Nutrition Manager Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Nutrition Manager will be responsible for the nutritional management of residents within the facility. This includes providing a quality meal service and ensuring clinical standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement nutrition care plans for residents.
2. Monitor and revise nutrition care plans as needed.
3. Ensure meals and snacks meet Canada's Food Guide to Healthy Eating standards.
4. Establish policies and procedures for resident meal service and nutritional care.
5. Conduct nutrition and food service audits.

Requirements:
1. Member in good standing with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
2. Bachelor of Science Degree in Food and Nutrition and completion of an accredited internship program.
3. Recent clinical experience in geriatric nutrition is an asset.

Skills and Abilities:
1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Knowledge of clinical nutrition principles as related to the geriatric population.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills with a global perspective.
