Business Development Director

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our Campus and Universities Division, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through targeted account development and outbound outreach.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Generation/Prospecting – Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Communication – Develop and maintain relationships with C-suite stakeholders through effective communication and proposal writing.
- Relationship Management – Build and nurture long-term account value with executive C-level relationships.
- Strategic Planning – Develop and implement compelling strategies for client contact, relationship management, and bidding.
- Pipeline Management – Maintain accurate records of client contact and details, and demonstrate experience building a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
- 5-7 years of solid experience selling to C-Suite stakeholders.
- Experience selling food services, facilities management, or property management services or comparable services.
- Experience in the Campus and Universities sector would be an asset.
- Experience in building trusted partnerships with Indigenous partners would be an asset.
- Experience responding to complex RFPs with large-volume, multi-service, multi-year contracts.
- Experience with sales database management system (CRM).
- Superior writing skills.
- Bilingual in French and English is a strong asset.
