We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Lead Hand to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Lead Hand, you will be responsible for providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents, as well as investigating routine incidents and responding to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct general tower and parking lot patrols to ensure the safety and security of the general public on the property.
- Write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.
- Provide high customer service to clients and retail clients, including assisting with directions, signing in and out contractors, and providing information inquiries.
- Ensure the safety and security of the general public on the property, including patrolling the retail section and parking garage.
- Cross-train on all roles, including patroller, operator, and other duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid First Aid/CPR - Level C certification.
- Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination.
- Able to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Minimum 3 years security experience required, or 1 year of demonstrated Security Supervision experience.
- Demonstrates superior customer service skills and able to work independently.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Able to complete ongoing training as directed by the Site Manager or Client Service Manager.
