Security Officer

At Paladin Security, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular security patrols of the assigned area to prevent and detect any security breaches.
- Monitor activities and respond to incidents in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with investigations by gathering information, taking photos and videos, and completing incident reports.
- Respond to emergency situations and liaise with emergency responders as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to staff and visitors.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Experience in the security industry or related fields such as policing is an asset.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
- A valid Security Guard License in Ontario.
- A full driver's license (G License) for the province of Ontario is considered an asset.
- A valid certification in First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor).
- Successful completion of the following certification(s): Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) and Use of Force (UoF).
- Previous customer service-related experience would be an asset.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Security/Loss Prevention in a retail environment.
- Demonstrates superior customer service skills and able to work independently.
