Security Officer

At Paladin Security, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Write detailed reports of incidents and security activities.
- Investigate routine incidents and gather evidence as needed.
- De-escalate situations involving conflict, violence, or other security threats.
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms as necessary.
- Provide patient watches and ensure the safety of clients and staff.
- Intervene in medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
- Liaise with emergency responders, clients, and Paladin management to ensure effective communication and response.
- At least 1 year of security experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C certification from a WSIB-approved vendor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Candidates with experience working in healthcare and mental health will be given priority.
- Successful completion of the following certifications: Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB), Use of Force (UoF), and Baton.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time in outdoor weather conditions.
