Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Edge Industrial Supply Inc. in [Location].
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time opportunity that offers an estimated annual salary of $45,000-$60,000 based on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment by conducting regular cleaning tasks and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials.
- Use inventory control software to track and manage stock levels, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Work with colleagues to prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies as needed.
- Process incoming requisitions and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Utilize computer skills to complete tasks efficiently, including proficiency in MS Office and SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD).
- Provide excellent customer service, answering phone calls and addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Conduct sales calls to promote products and services to customers.
- Sell spare and replacement parts to customers, ensuring they understand the use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment, such as lift trucks and fork-lifts.
