**Job Summary**
SHH Transport Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatchers Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient operations
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Recruit and hire staff as needed
- Train workers in duties and policies
- Arrange training for staff
- Conduct performance reviews
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review work
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
**Supervision**
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people and providing guidance and support as needed.
**Computer and Technology Knowledge**
You will be required to have knowledge of electronic schedulers, inventory control software, purchasing software, and Microsoft Office applications.
**Security and Safety**
You will be required to undergo a criminal record check and ensure a safe working environment.
**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**
You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
**Personal Suitability**
You will be required to have excellent oral and written communication skills, be accurate, client-focused, efficient, and organized.
**Experience**
You will be required to have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

You will be required to support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees.
**Support for Youths**
You will be required to provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.

You will be required to develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
**Support for Mature Workers**
You will be required to provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
**Support for Visible Minorities**
You will be required to apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
