About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatchers Supervisor to join our team at Khattra Transport inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution of transportation services.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators, such as on-time delivery rates and customer satisfaction.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of dispatchers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess the performance of dispatchers and identify areas for improvement.
  • Logistics Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including the coordination of transportation services and the management of inventory.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules and procedures to ensure that dispatchers are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, analytical, and proactive.
