Job Title: Head of HSE and Security

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Security teams at our St. Thomas site. As the Head of HSE and Security, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility, while also protecting our people, assets, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HSE and Security strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of HSE and Security professionals to achieve our safety and environmental goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management and external partners to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure the safety of our people and the community.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure our employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with hazardous substances, fire safety, and other potential hazards.
  • Develop and implement a positive safety culture within our organization.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a Health, Safety, or Environmental subject.
  • 10+ years of experience in a Health, Safety, or Environmental role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE and Security strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
