About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Clairmont. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service
  • Quality Control
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports as required
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 3-4 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Certifications
    • Food Safety Certificate
    • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
