About the Role


As a Strategic Employee Relations Analyst at National Bank, you will play a vital role in supporting the Employee Experience sector. This 18-month opportunity offers a chance to work closely with experts on a dynamic and passionate team.



Your Responsibilities



  • You will act as a resource person and integrator between internal and external stakeholders, providing status updates on projects and mandates.
  • Manage and produce reports on sector data, including budget monitoring and operational risk management.
  • Monitor processes in collaboration with various internal services, such as payroll, accounting, compensation, benefits, and recruitment.
  • Automate, simplify, improve, and increase the efficiency of various processes.
  • Participate in working committees by providing information on Employee Relations policies and practices.
  • Work closely with the Employee Experience Centre, Legal Affairs managers, and other Employee Experience experts to ensure special files are managed and resolved.
  • Keep documentation up to date and create SharePoint pages.
  • Help with administrative activities related to employee relations: indexing cash payment requests, monitoring regulatory obligations, etc.
  • Address process-efficiency issues, make recommendations, and ensure continuous improvement.


Your Team


You'll work with a team of 11 colleagues, reporting to the Senior Manager, Employee Relations. Our team is known for its advisory role, team spirit, agility, and expertise in employment law.



Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in administration or a related field, six years of relevant experience, or master's degree in a related field, four years of relevant experience, or university certificate, eight years of relevant experience.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data.
  • Experience contributing to projects.
  • Focused on process improvement.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.) and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent work organization, rigour, and priority management skills.
  • Good knowledge of EE ecosystem, an asset.


Language


The primary language required is English, French is also essential due to frequent interactions with service providers and partners who speak other languages.



Salary


We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience, plus a wide range of flexible benefits to support your well-being and that of your family.
