Infrastructure Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Team Lead to join our team at Burgundy Diamond Mines. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all waste management activities, overseeing the camp, catering, and janitorial contract, and supervising the performance of personnel working within your responsible teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all waste management activities, including landfill maintenance, incinerator building operation, potable water deliveries, sewer truck operation, and waste management building operations.
- Support and oversee the camp, catering, and janitorial contract, including quarterly meetings to review contractual obligations.
- Assign work and supervise the performance of personnel working within your responsible teams.
- Responsible for employee development through one-on-one coaching and mentoring.
- Support the concept of Zero Harm through effective safety, health, and environment management practices.
- Initiate the investigation of all accidents and incidents.
- Manage and oversee the budget and invoice payments through the Service Entry Sheets in SAP.
- Support the aviation services teams with all inbound/outbound flights, including ad-hocs, and provide support towards passenger movement and bussing schedules.
- Manage OPEX/CAPEX for the departments through continuous improvement and engage in departmental improvement projects, including replacement of aged airport or facilities equipment.
- Ensure company policies and standard operating procedures are followed.
- Required to work with and thoroughly understand the ETAS and SAP Systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience.
- Valid supervisory ticket.
- Food safe level 2 certification.
- Valid first-aid ticket.
- Class 5 drivers license required for area inspections.
- Knowledge and understanding of Transport Canada's CARS/NAV Canada regulations.
- Ability to influence others and drive continuous improvement without direct report control.
- Ability to problem solve and remain calm under pressure.
- Working knowledge of SAP and strong computer literacy with willingness to learn new computer skills.

Additional Information:
The Company provides travel to and from the Ekati mine site out of Calgary, Yellowknife, and other northern fly points.
