Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Bar Burrito Canmore. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Train StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles to the highest standard.
Estimate Ingredients and SuppliesEstimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action if necessary to maintain high standards.
Customer ServiceAddress customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that they receive a positive experience.
Record KeepingMaintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Food Order SummariesPrepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.
Work SchedulesEstablish work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage to meet customer demand.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
Work SettingOn-site customer service in a fast food outlet or concession environment.
Supervision3-4 people or 5-10 people, depending on the location and business needs.
Work TermPermanent position.
Work LanguageEnglish.
Hours30 to 40 hours per week.
