Job Title: Senior Claims Field Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Claims Field Representative to join our dynamic team at Northbridge Financial Corporation.

About the Role:

As a Senior Claims Field Representative, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling moderate and complex claims in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with clients, brokers, and vendors to provide excellent customer service and ensure that claims are resolved in a fair and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations of claims, including inspections of personal and commercial properties
  • Evaluate the scope of damages and determine the extent of coverage
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and vendors
  • Review and analyze policies and technical reports to determine coverage and liability
  • Make decisions on coverage and negotiate settlements of claims
  • Manage a busy schedule and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with claimants, brokers, and vendors
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in an insurance-focused program or related field
  • Working towards the CIP designation
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a commercial liability insurance field claims adjuster
  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
  • Ability to work after hours and weekends during scheduled on-call rotation
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to clearly communicate with claimants, brokers, and vendors
