Gauthier Drywall Inc is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a reliable and experienced Drywall Installer to work on various projects, including commercial, institutional, and residential sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall installation, finishing, and repair, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and finish drywall sheets, including measuring, cutting, and fitting
- Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
- Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
- Mix and apply plaster ingredients to desired consistency
- Install metal corner beads, wire mesh, and other materials as required
- Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
- Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
- 5 years or more of experience in drywall installation and finishing
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and WHMIS Certificate
- Ability to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and stand for extended periods
- Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
