Executive Culinary Leader

At Bar.B.Q 1988, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Leader to join our team. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for leading a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure optimal profitability.
- Analyze operating costs and other data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to the cooking staff to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to develop their skills and confidence.
- Create innovative new recipes that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, using only the freshest ingredients and adhering to the highest standards of quality.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient operation and minimal waste.
- Plan menus that exceed customer expectations and ensure that all food meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork, respect, and open communication.
- 5-10 years of experience in a senior culinary role, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- A deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to implement and maintain high standards.
- The ability to work under pressure, think creatively, and solve problems quickly and effectively.
- A passion for innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- A competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
