About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced hardware engineer to provide top-notch technical support services to our clients. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex PC-related issues, building and configuring computers, and providing expert advice on hardware configurations and software applications.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who can work independently and as part of a team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing onsite and desk-side support services to end-users
  • Troubleshooting PC-related problems at the direction of level 2 or SPOC
  • Completing incidents and requests within SLA in a pressurized environment
  • Building, configuring, and troubleshooting install 'Gold' image on customer PCs and laptops
  • Ensuring tickets are updated daily
  • Supporting meeting room environments and video conferencing
  • Supporting printers, scanners, and other peripherals
  • Supporting mobile devices, such as iPads, iPhones, and Android devices
  • End-user data backup and restoration when required during service incidents
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in computer hardware and software systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Windows 7/10 and related Office applications
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM and experience with building, configuring, replacing, and troubleshooting PC and laptop hardware components
  • Experience with smart hands support for data center equipment and knowledge of current and legacy hardware platforms
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
Desired Qualifications

We are also looking for candidates with CompTIA certifications (e.g., A+, Network+) and/or Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCP, MCITP, MCSE).

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Iron Systems offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous paid time-off policy.
