Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Systems Engineer to join our Information Technology Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting desktop images, corporate endpoint technologies, and software updates.

This role requires strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with people at all levels within the firm. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, particularly in regards to accommodating on-call responsibilities and adjusting to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure system integrity and security
  • Create and support Windows desktop images in Microsoft SCCM and Intune environments
  • Packaging, deploying, and maintaining desktop and mobile applications
  • Deploying endpoints such as desktops and firm-managed mobile devices
  • Conducting user acceptance testing, including creating acceptance criteria, reviewing test plans and scenarios, and reviewing test results
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues on supported systems
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on desktop systems and mobile devices, including software updates, critical patches, and system configurations
  • Collaborating with other IT teams to deploy and upgrade desktop hardware and software as needed
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of desktop and mobile device configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows 10/11, SCCM, Intune, Microsoft 365/Exchange Online/Teams, and Microsoft Azure
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, legal applications, and PowerShell
  • Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated ability to create technical documentation
  • Microsoft certifications an asset; law firm experience also beneficial
