Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Onroute Towing and Autobody. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances, contact contractors for repairs and maintenance, and advertise vacancies as needed.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks, and move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Seasonal Tasks: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work 30-35 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
