Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Onroute Towing and Autobody. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our building, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris; empty trash cans and other waste containers; wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances; contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment; advertise vacancy as needed.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks; move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Seasonal Tasks: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.

Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; experience an asset; permanent employment; English as the primary language of work; 30 to 35 hours per week.
