Key Responsibilities:

The Building Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for providing a variety of maintenance services, including mechanical repairs and minor building and electrical repairs. This will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues independently, as well as consulting with supervisors for more complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Key Skills:

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical trades, with experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC. They will also have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. Additionally, they will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.

Requirements:

The Building Maintenance Mechanic will require a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, as well as a certificate of qualification in a relevant trade. They will also be required to have a strong understanding of safety protocols and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
