Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Finance Project Manager to lead the governance of fixed capacity projects, ensuring business strategies, plans, and initiatives are executed in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your expertise in finance and project management to drive customer-focused culture throughout the team, deepen client relationships, and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Oversee capital expenditure and operating cost management, reporting, forecasting, and financial governance of Tangerine's Project Portfolio (Strategic Investment Pool, or SIP), including fixed capacity projects.
  • Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of Tangerine project reporting (actuals, forecast, and budget), including projects executed with fixed capacity.
  • Lead process improvements on a continuous basis, focusing on automation and simplification with respect to reporting, forecasting, and planning processes.
  • Analyze monthly Fixed Capacity reports and provide MoM and Full Year Forecast vs Plan variance commentary, highlighting any risks and/or opportunities to achieve budget targets.
  • Oversight of all Fixed Capacity project reporting, budgeting, and forecasting models, including consultation with agile teams, VRO, Enablement Office, and Finance to develop new reports and analysis.
  • Participate in annual Planning process for Tangerine's Project Portfolio (Strategic Investment Pool) and produce Agile Teams annual Plan, requiring an in-depth understanding of team compositions and expected activities.
  • Bridging interactions between project teams/squads, Value Realization Office, Enablement Office, and Finance, and spearhead special projects and ad-hoc reporting.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Think-Cell, database management, and financial modeling.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • 5+ years of experience in Banking and/or Finance Team function roles, with project reporting and Retail Banking product knowledge.
