About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Vintage Taphouse Ltd. as a Restaurant General Manager. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in restaurant management, with a focus on driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to ensure profitability and efficiency.
    • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce expenses and improve margins.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
    • Implement and maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety in the restaurant.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff.
    • Manage staff schedules, performance, and development to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns and events.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience for all guests.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience
    • Experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
    • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety and sanitation.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
