Join Our Team as an Environmental Engineer Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Engineer Intern to join our team at Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC). As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including environmental and safety initiatives, and contribute to the development of sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in identifying and implementing best practices for reduction of waste, water use, and energy consumption
  • Support EH&S programs related to risk identification and mitigation, including ergonomics and chemical exposures
  • Lead projects focused on wastewater discharge compliance, worker chemical exposures, carbon footprint reduction, and overall risk reduction initiatives
  • Develop business case documents for proposed capital projects related to environment, health, and safety
  • Help develop EH&S training materials and communicate initiatives to employees
  • Assist with incident investigations, trending, and implementation of corrective actions
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a Canadian university in the Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering program
  • Ability to work on-site in the province where hired
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and demonstrating a commitment to EH&S
