Join Our Team as an Environmental Health and Safety Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Intern to join our team at Pratt & Whitney. As an EH&S Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that support our commitment to environmental sustainability and employee safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the EH&S team in identifying and implementing best practices for reduction of waste, water use, and energy consumption.
  • Assist with developing EH&S training materials and communicating initiatives to employees.
  • Participate in incident investigations, trending, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Communicate with plant employees, management, and production supervisors to ensure effective implementation of EH&S initiatives.
  • Attend and actively participate in various committee meetings, including sustainable factory, industrial hygiene, and joint occupational health and safety.
Requirements:
  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where hired, if applicable.
  • Be enrolled in the Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering program.
