Join Our Team as an Environmental Health and Safety Intern

At Pratt & Whitney, we are committed to creating a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and the communities we serve. As an Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our EH&S team in achieving our goal of 100% compliance to corporate and regulatory EH&S requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the EH&S team in identifying and implementing best practices for reduction of waste, water use, and energy consumption.
  • Assist with developing EH&S training materials and communicating initiatives to employees.
  • Participate in incident investigations, trending, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Attend and actively participate in various committee meetings (sustainable factory, industrial hygiene, joint occupational health and safety, change management, etc.).
Requirements:
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • The candidate must be enrolled in the Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering program.
