Infrastructure Civil Engineer

We are in search of a proficient Civil Project Engineer with a focus on Infrastructure engineering. The selected candidate will engage in a range of projects across multiple regions, emphasizing the planning, design, procurement, and oversight of infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting feasibility studies, route assessments, and site selection processes, along with preparing concept design documentation.
- Creating comprehensive design packages that include detailed drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
- Drafting technical specifications and contract documents pertinent to main works and investigative contracts.
- Managing tender evaluations and procurement activities.
- Preparing necessary documentation for statutory approvals, including planning permissions and land acquisition processes.
- Overseeing contract administration during the construction phase.
- Formulating detailed project plans that encompass budgets, timelines, and resource distribution.
- Contributing to infrastructure projects from inception through to completion, ensuring adherence to budgetary and scheduling constraints.
- Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory entities to guarantee compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and support personnel.
- Conducting site inspections to assess project progress, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Preparing and evaluating technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Monitoring project expenditures and managing change orders effectively.
- Identifying potential project risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Encouraging effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in consulting engineering or a comparable field (exceptional candidates with fewer years of experience may also be considered).
- Chartered Engineer status or membership in a professional engineering body, actively pursuing Chartership.
- Willingness to engage in diverse civil engineering projects across various regions.
- Strong teamwork skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, and effective communication capabilities.
- Experience in supervising technicians in the production of engineering drawings and documentation.
- Proficient in report writing and familiar with management processes.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in infrastructure project design and analysis software.
- Familiarity with various construction contract forms.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources efficiently.
